Bright & Busy Daycare was founded in 2022, by the owner and Director, Jenny Truong. Jenny has always had a passion for working with children in an Early Childhood Education setting. She has been working with children for the last 25 years, with a specialty in Early Intervention. She has her Master's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. Jenny is NYS licensed in Birth-2nd grade and Student with disabilities. She was a Daycare Director for many years until she was able to accomplish her dream of opening her Daycare in Astoria. Now, she can continue her life's work of educating young minds! Bright & Busy Daycare services children from the ages of 2-5 years old, with a specific program for every age that caters to the developmental needs of that age. We look forward to welcoming your children to Bright & Busy Daycare, a beautiful place to grow!
Our Cirriculum
At Bright & Busy Day Care, we follow the New York State Early Learning Guidelines. Incorporating these necessary components, which include all main early childhood domains, to be able to develop a well-rounded and thriving curriculum that keeps the children interested and excited to learn. Each month, the children will be introduced to a new unit theme, based on their interests. With careful observations and assessments, the children will learn through engaging activities and lessons, in both large and small groups.
Our curriculum is based on the various Early Childhood Development Theorists, that believed that children learn best through play, active engagement, and socializing. The school day is filled with an assortment of learning activities and experiences that help your child gain the necessary tools needed to excel during these formative years.

We present the opportunity for every child to have the ability to learn and grow at a pace that is developmentally appropriate for them. Through engaging learning activities and socialization, we believe children will have the space to set a strong foundation for not only their formative years, but the rest of their life.
