Bright and Busy Daycare was founded in 2022 by the owner and Director, Jenny Truong. Jenny has always had a passion for working with children in an early childhood daycare setting. She has been working with children for the last 25 years, with a specialty in Early Intervention. She has her master's degree in early childhood and special education and is NYS licensed in Birth-2nd grade and Students with Disabilities. She was a daycare director for many years until she was able to accomplish her dream of opening a daycare in Astoria. Now, she can continue her life's work of educating young minds! Bright and Busy Daycare services children from the ages of 2-5 years old, with a specific program for every age that caters to the developmental needs of that age. We look forward to welcoming your children to Bright & Busy Daycare, a beautiful place to grow!
Our Curriculum
At Bright and Busy Daycare, we follow the New York State Early Learning Guidelines, incorporating essential components that cover all main early childhood domains to create a well-rounded and thriving curriculum. As a childcare center, we design engaging lessons that keep children interested and excited to learn. Each month, they are introduced to a new unit theme based on their interests, with careful observations and assessments guiding their learning through interactive activities in both large and small groups.

The school day is filled with diverse learning experiences that provide children with the foundational skills they need to excel during these formative years.
